I'm on the hunt for a new nano: Around 6 or so gallons, all in one (with built in sump), acrylic. I've already checked with one company for a custom......$250!!! Any ideas? Thanks for your input.
I'd say something simple like a 6g nanocube would be the most cost effective option but it's glass. The truvu 6g nanocube is acrylic and pretty nice. The base price on it is about 140 now without lights or canopy. Someone must have a used tank for sale to cut down on costs for you.
I picked my nano up in Modesto (Tropical Haven) for 69.99. It's something like 6-8 gallons, has an included sump/overflow on the backside, moonlights and dual powercompacts. (the wattage escapes me)
They had cheaper nanos which were much of the same but had only half the lighting.
It's glass though... and not acrylic. Still a nice setup for cheap.
