Looking for a nice coral

Small world LOL :) I bought my UV sterilizer from Pet City with the promise from the manager he would install it for me. After several weeks of I will be there's and then him flat out lying to me I have never been back. Most everything that my neighbor has purchased from them in the way of live stock has either died or created major health issues with her tank. Glad I never got that far with them. So back to the Blueberry...forgot to ask when I purchased it but where is the best placement in the tank. I have metal halides but not sure whether it can take that much light or not? Right now I placed it towards the middle of the tank with some slight shade from a rock. Any opinions?

That's the same thing I did with mine. They don't need light, but IIRC, they aren't one of the ones that are damaged by light, either.

I was going to say something about the owner of Pet City, then went back and erased it. He seems awful shifty to me.

I woke up this morning and it is full of the light blue flowers....gorgeous.
I have never really met the owner but the manager, Mike, is shifty.
Nothing was ever proven but Mystic Marine about 6 months ago had someone drop a few chlorine tablets into one of their tanks. They lost most of the fish in that system to the tune of about $4000. The only person who had been in before that was a guy who hangs out at Pet City all the time and is a freind of the manager, Mike. Ray, from Mystic also told me that he had a few people in the industry who in a round about way confirmed that it was that person. No one could tell him though if Mike had anything to do with it or if it was just his freinds idea.
Sad....

I hope you have done your homework when it comes to the blueberry. They have very specialized needs. I had to put mine in a separate tank with minimal light (to prevent algae overgrowth) and constant flow with lots of tiny phyto and zoo plankton.

No homework done by me...I unfortunaly tend to jump and think later. Last night I went on line trying to find out info on placement as I forgot to ask when I purchased it. All I found said lower light so I placed it in the middle of the tank slightly under a rock for some shade and lots of food...I use cyclopees and marine snow.
