Looking for a perching fish

Tailspots blennies are pretty cool. I have 2, a lawnmower blenny and a miller Molly that all are perchers. All different in own ways, all fun too.

Wow, thanks for all the responses! I think I've narrowed it down to a clown goby, flame hawkfish, or a midas/bicolor blenny. I'm probably a month out so I'll probably change my mind like 10 times before then.

If you keep a clown goby with anything that might nip, you'll see that they taste bad. I used to have one, and my blue damsel instantly started pestering it- hitting it with his tail and such. It didn't budge. The damsel took one nip, froze, zipped across the tank, and sat in the corner looking unhappy and mouthing furiously. He did NOT like how the goby tasted. It's apparently the slime coat, as he didn't do any damage to the goby.
Clown Goby's eat the slime coat of Sps so my guess would be this could be at least a partial reason for a bad "taste".
My vote would be a Red Scooter Blennie. They ate awesome looking great personality and scoot and perch all day. The do eat pods but mine also ate brine, small pellets and flake food.

Does anyone have experience with a horned blenny? They look like a more compact version of the lawnmower.

A mandarin goby is one of my favorites, try to get one that eats frozen food. Or you'll need a refugium for Copepods

They need copopods no matter what. If you can actually get them to eat frozen foods that's a lucky bonus. They are absolutely stunning fish that swim kind of like helicopters and I totally reccomend them... For 10 months later. They need a well established tank with lots of live rock, a huge established copepod population, and a tank with completely peaceful tankmates. Personally mine is also probably my favorite fish, and i got him to eat brine shrimp and fish eggs. So ya, that's for later. A 2 month old tank can't handle a mandadin.

I have a flame and a very large longnose hawk in my 220 with 2 cleaner shrimp added after both of those fish were added and were small shrimps too, and they never looked twice at them let alone bother them.

+1 for tail spot blenny just my personal preference. I really enjoyed the personality and will be getting another when my next tank is built.
