looking for some suggestions, snails and hermits arent doing the job, also have a urchin and its not doing that well, looking for something unusual and maybe something that looks good while doing dirty work

Sleeper gobies - Valenciennea sp.

They have kept the sand in my 135g nice and white. They even keep the sand underneath/behind the rockwork clean. Make sure they are eating at the LFS, because they will starve in a tank unless they are fed directly. Mine eat mysis shrimp like pigs, but in general it seems they will eat anything floating in the water or on the sand.

I have a yellow head goby that sifts sand great... but it 'dusts' my corals and rock constantly, which I don't like. I recently got a diamond goby for my new tank. The guy stays low while sifting rather than dumping it on top of everything... I'm pretty happy with him
