I want to set up a sump for a 100 or 120 gal tank. Anybody know a good one to buy and where? How about making one? I wouldnt even know where to start. any suggestions would help

You first must decide what you want to put in the sump, then decide where it's going to go. If it's going in the stand, you'll need to find something that will fit in there.
You can make your own, it's not hard, and it's cheaper, and more customized to what you want. I would suggest getting the biggest one you can (within reason) that will fit where you want it to be. I personally used a 55g AGA tank that's in the stand under my 125g display. Try this site for ideas...

the cheapest way would be to make one out of glass.. the site that fast fred posted up is a great source of info to make ur own.. if ur willing to spend the money.. you can have it custom made for you.. I know socalcreations.com make great sumps/refugium they're located in so. cal, they're willing to ship.. but expect to spend at least $250 for the sump and shipping..

I made mine out of a glass 30G long tank with acrylic baffles. It was a fun do it yourself project and has been working great for over 2 years now.
