I have a 180 gallon aquarium FOWLR and I am only home on weekends due to my job .I have 28yrs in the marine hooby and have seen skimmers go from medium size to huge and the controversy has always been of interest to most serious hoobyists can you over skim. If you look back over the earlier yrs lots of skimmers were moderate size and lots of animals did well based on the expertise of the tank owner. so here is my question I was thinking of just using the new Tunze 9010 due to the fact I could internally mount it in the Tank and since I am away I would not have to deal with sump levels, overflows and the like .If anyone has read the earlier Peter Wilkens book seems like He never was comfotable with sumps I am sure this will generate lots of Controversy but Tha t is the way it is with the job. Thanks.
