Looking for Amphiprion chrysogaster

Rare Angels

Good morning,

I heard that you might have Amphirion chrysogaster available in the near future? Is this true? Can you obtain these beautiful clowns?

Rare Angels,

Thank you for contacting us about the Amphiprion chrysogaster. This beautiful specimen is not available at this time. We anticipate offering them on our Diver’s Den site later in the year. The Diver’s Den Blue Striped Clown Fish will be specimens found in a different region than the ones previously sold on our LiveAquaria site. You may want to watch our Divers Den site in November for this unusual fish. If you have any additional questions, we will be happy to help you.

Thanks for the reply,

The blue stripe clownfish is normal A. chrysopterus not A. chrysogaster. Are you going to have chrysogaster or chrysopertus? I am just a little confused and don't want to miss these fish.

Rare Angels,

Thank you for posting about our response. We apologize for the confusion we have generated about these Clownfish. We are expecting to have a few specimens of the Amphiprion Chrysogaster known as the Mauritian Clownfish possibly available in November. The Amphiprion Chrysopterus also called the Blue Stripe Clownfish are easier to find, however, difficult to keep.
