Looking for an Iceprobe for sale

its for the 5gal dwarf seahorse tank. I don't think we can drill that. But that was an awesome price. I need the smallest Iceprobe they make.

Thanks, Michele

Ever thought about plumbing the 5 into something bigger like a 10 or so just for stability in temp and parameters etc? Example I have a 75g display with a 90g sump and a 55g fuge. I know you can't have a lot of flow in the 5g but you could plumb it with a sm powerhead.

Or if you can drill the bottom of the 5 you could do something like DanU (seahorse source) did for his erectus fry.

I just reread your post about not being able to drill the tank, he also has a cool but odd overflow you might be able to use, I don't think its drilled.

just a thought.

Well, I guess we could drill it, I just really don't want to. It's completely set up and ready to roll, except for the temp. It's also a hex tank that is on a bookshelf between two rooms. You can view it from the dining room or the living room, and theirs nowhere to put a larger tank. The temp is at a steady 78. I would like it to be 72-74. Thanks for the feedback. All ideas are welcome.

I've seen where nano'ers have mounted the Iceprobe thru the back of an Aqua Clear filter. I'm not sure if your tank has room to hang the filter or not tho? How were you originally planning on adding the Iceprobe without using another tank or drilling the one you have?

You could place a fan near the tank. Would take some time but I use a fan with a timer on one of my tanks. Like Colleen said stability is the key. Over 76 deg and your chances of vibro are high. Colleen love that link

He's a really nice guy, literally started breeding in his dining room, now he is a very respected co. with many different H. species. I am hoping that I can get a couple of his H. Erectus babies in the next week or 2. I'm trying to pre order but they may already be sold out AGAIN.
