Looking for bacteria!

I am working on seeding about 400lbs of live rock, and started out with 100lbs of live rock. Any recommendations on bacterial additives that would help to seed the live rock faster? ANy info would help!

I have always wondered if any of them do anything. If you bought "live" rock it should already have bacteria in it. are you saying you bought 400 lbs of base rock and are seeding it with 100 lbs of live? I guess I am confused of your setup. I don't use the additives, I don't trust them myself.

I have read on here that most bacteria additives or a form of ammonia that helps feed the bacteria that you already have and make them populate faster.

I think prodibio biodigest is the best bet for seeding the rock.

Whats up with them anyways? Seems like they came out of nowhere and everybody like them? Has there been any outside unbiased lab testing done on them?

I've got a 600g TWV system, and started with 100lbs live and am seeding another 400lbs that was dry figi rock and marco-style rock. I have heard good things about prodibio biodigest, might try that. Where's the best place to get it?

marine depo carries the prodibio products at a fairly good price but other than that it is mainly overseas distributers. I have been using prodibio products for some time now and they seem to work as described. Keep in mind these product arent an overnight cure. You will not see any difference until 4-6 weeks after dosing.
