Looking for Berghia

I want to try some I just don't have time or money right now. Would someone be willing to sell me some used ones before they die? If we recycled I wouldn't care as much starving them.

Hey pop, I heard that gas kills aptasia.... ha ha ha... but really you need to come over some time soon and check out how the frags you gave me are doing and see how much Ray Charles has grown. That hungry bastard.

Threadfin butterflies (auriga) can also be rapid destroyers of Aips. I tried mine in my reef and it quickly developed a taste for acans and other similar LPS (has since been moved to the 150 livestock feed tub/refump;)/rock tank). It was in a softie tank before and didn't seem to cause any issues. It seems to live for Aips...

If there was any delay in placing the order of if anybody wants to "recycle" them after they do the job in their tank, I'd be interested.

I have used this and it works just like Aptasia X for almost no money at all. Aptasia Killing recipe:

this comes from the following website: http://www.livingreefs.com/cure-aiptasia-t486.html

A METHOD OF DEALING WITH AIPTASIA.

CREDITS: ARTICLE BY FISHMAN

Prepare stock solution

1. 1 tsp. pickling lime - food grade calcium hydroxide
2. 2 tbls. RODI water.

boil water and lime in microwave for 40 sec.
keep closed plastic container in cool place.
You will need a vet syringe from a pet store that sells vaccinations

This mixture comes out of the needle very thick. You do not need to inject the Aiptasia. Just release a small amount on to the aiptasia and it will take it in. This mixture seems to stick to the anemone, but it does not stick to the other inverts. We also use this mixture on problem hair algae

I found this recipe it really works and it is cheap.I have used it several time in my tank. The pickling lime is Kalkwasser, and you do not have to inject them to kill them. When they go back in a hole shoot the mixture in the hole with them.

Fishman adds: If you feed them before the injection. They have a hard time reverting back in the hole or shrinking up.

I am. 1-2 is not nearly enough!
NO DOUBT!

That's what you get for putting a butterfly into your reef tank. DUH.
Gary...got any of my old zoas?!? I'm trying to get some back that were derived from my original colony. Seems they've gone by the wayside for a lot of people. Boo.

If there was any delay in placing the order of if anybody wants to "recycle" them after they do the job in their tank, I'd be interested.
Wow...moved on so soon?!? Wonder what he got banned for. hah hah.

I've got some I think I can get cut off the rock for you. I'll work on that and bring some to Nashville. They are in Jenn's tank, which needs lots of attention. It is next on my list of tank honey do's:).
