looking for black tip sharks

the black tips are in my 1200 gallon pond that i built, one is not doing to well, i took it back to ata and they said that they have no warranty on their live stock. but they said if my shark does dies just take back the body to them and they will get credit back from their supplier and give me a new one (only one time deal). i knew from the start that these sharks are tranship directly from over sea and the survival rate is quite low. but the moral of the story is that you pay for what you get. other store charges over a $1500 because the shark has been in their tank and they take all the risk. but at ata they sell it straight out of the box which is no risk to them, thats why they are able to sell it so cheap. i ask them how much for a shark out of there tank and they said $999. I looked at all of their fish most seems healthy but few seems to be really sicks especially their powder blue tangs but who does not a problem with them. but if you guys want quality fish go to tongs in fountain vally they have theeeeeeeeeeee best selections. but i have to admit that at tongs their prices are higher than normal. Note: if my sharks don't make it, i will try out koi fish any one know where to get the best looking koi fish????

bobs tropical fish how low would they let the shark go for????

please find out for me i am very interested if the price is right i will pick it up today

Coralfragger - How long has your "shark pond" been up and running. Becasue sharks can only thrive in tanks which have been running for a long period of time. They need well matured tanks. If this was your first shark very bad move. Also 1200 gallons is WAY to small for Blacktip Reef sharks. They need around 10,000-15,000 Gallons to thrive for their life. Please be more responsible next time you purchase a shark, as you are putting yourself and your sharks into jeapordy.

my pond has been up and running for over 6 months, i just lost one black tip shark yesterday my ph is too low. the other one is eating fine. i found a store that has black tip sharks for $599 each but they are out of stock for now. i went and look at bob tropical and that black tip is huge!!!!!!!!! now i am looking for smooth hounds any one has any????????? black tips are too fragile. i took back the body to ata and they gave me store credit. but it was like pulling teeth with them. ata won't sell me anymore black tips cause they said that i can't handle the. so i got a japanese dragon eel instead for $799. well my next project is making a jelly fish tank

go to SouthBay Aquariums... they have Smooth Hounds in all the time...GL, sorry u lost ur shark, that sux man :(
