I have a frag of that in my tank, really nice. Tentacles do not extend more than quarter of an inch (day or nite), couldn't sting anything that is out of its range. Has no sweepers like galaxean or platygyras. IMHO almost all corals sting, its only a matter of whether they can get in contact with one another...I don't believe hydnos release toxins either...
