So, I have a J and L's Orchid Stylo had it over a year and its growing well. It has started to encrust the rockwork. Problem is the color, it is very pale.
The placement is off to the extreme left side of a 48 inch long tank under 2 x 150 metal halides. The vertical placement is toward the top of my tank about six inches below the waterline, lights are probably 7 or 8 inches off the water.
Polyps are out all the time and no signs of stress, just bad color. I dont feed my tank that much "coral food" some BRS Reef Chili once or twice a week.
Any ideas that could help color it up. I would like to keep it in it current location if possible,i like it there. Plus the growth has been good.
anyone using amino acids ? if so what brand and can you say it helps????
Thanks
any help is appercitated
