I'm looking for a good way to get my corals color to pop more i have moonlighting that does it but not bright enought to really get a good pop. Is there anything that won't break the bank that will make the color pop really good. I have already looked at stunners and another big name like true lumen or something like that. Just need something alittle cheaper that works just as good or close enough to the big names.

Can you fit two T12 VHO bulbs? I know nothing that makes corals pop better than adding two Super Actinic T12 VHO bulbs to your tank.

Tank is a standard 55. 4bulb t5 with moon lights. No canopy all open top. I prefer to stay around 50$ and below.

LEDs, IMO DIY is you best bet, 453nm and a few 420-430nm LEDs will bring some pop :)

Agree. You can pick up an LED strip for around $60. It will make the colors pop, or more like explode! But it won't work as well with other lights, so you'd have to switch the regular lights off to enjoy your eye-popping-stun-time.
And the $60 one will only be about 24" long, and you still need the transformer and that's another $15 or $20.

It's worth it though.
