I am in the process in trying to find 2 large plastic storage bins to convert them into local saltwater as well as a touch tank for my classroom. For those that have been to coral oasis, the ones they have located under their tanks are the ones I am refering to. Anyboby out there have a contact or know where they are sold? Thanks for looking!

Try Asking Simon007 He had a source for some used ones a few months back, the new ones cost close to $300 each and are hard to find.

I wish my Bio teacher had a touch pool in class, lucky students!!!

Thanks for the lead, I will PM simon. Yeah, my 150 gal tank isn't cutting it anymore and have always wanted to put one in back of classroom. Got some $$$ from our Science fundraiser so going to put it to use.

kokxy,
i have a contact that ill try to get you the number today. they sell plastic water tanks for water storage, pressure washers, etc. he has odd ball sizes that go for good prices. 50 gallon - 1000 gallon. ill try and get that number for you, if not today then ill get it tomorrow.

I have some left over pondliner material (coral oasis has some sumps with this and wood frame on other side) that could be used to make a small touchpool. Maybe something plumbed from another tank that could be used for temp display during lab activities? Its a 10ft by 10ft square that has one 5x5 chunk cut out.

Sharkdude,
Thanks for the offer, sounds good what you are talking about. Hopefully I can get something that I can plumb in directly with little work on my part. Was thinking of getting an external pump(Ampmaster3000) and plumbing it into the bin. My current 150 at school is getting crowded and need to move shark as well as bass, lobster into something bigger. so this is my project during spring break.
