Im heading to Indianapolis next weekend and am wondering what shops are around the area worth visiting.

Premium Aquatics. Only open for walk-ins Friday and Saturday check their website for the hours. Best store in Indy.

Uncle Bills in Noblesville is pretty good and I have heard the one on the southside is good too. Try posting on INDMAS too....
Don't bother with the Reef.....

Premium is definitely a good one. It's been a long time since I visited any others. If you have time to drive a ways Inland Aquatics in Terre Haute is worth the trip.

I have to say I actually like The Reef better than any of them, premium aquatics is nice dont get me wrong, it just rubs me the wrong way that they are only open to public on fri and sat for only a few hours, seems like to me, their online business is more important to them than there local customers...just my opinion, but definitely a good place to get all kinds of stuff, just better not need anything throughout the week!

Go to The Reef if you want to spend double the retail. 57 for a fire shrimp last time I was there. Premium is awesome. They have pretty much everything aquarium related. PA does allow you to pick up orders and what not. I have picked up livestock during the middle of the week.

Exactly....premium is a internet business....we are lucky to have them in indy and that they let us in to buy at those online prices :bounce1:

Inland Aquatics is responsible for my reef addiction. My husband and I were visiting his brother in Terre Haute; they were working on cars while I went exploring. Inland had fish that I haven't seen in years or have never seen and their systems are truly unique. Got back to PA and a month later started my reef...
