My family and I will be visiting Butler for the July 4th weekend and I was wondering where are the best SW stores in the area?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

thepircs,

The closest stores to Butler worth visiting are Under the Sea and Seahorse.

To get to Seahorse, take route 8 south about 1/2 mile past the turnpike ramp and the store will be on your left.

To get to under the sea, either take the turnpike one exit west to Cranberry township and follow route 19 north for about two miles. The store will be on your right in a shopping center next to a rite aid.

Alternatively, from Butler, take 422 west to 79 south. Exit 79 south at the Evans City exit and follow route 19 south for about two miles. The store will be on your left.

There are other stores, but most will take you almost an hour from the Butler area unless you are very close to the turnpike.

Enjoy your visit!

Adam that caption is terrible offensive, shame on you.

You KNOW it should read:

"Intelligent and friendly on rye bread with some mayo!"

Sam,

Too wordy... wouldn't fit and still be legible.

I did consider "Mmmm... Flipper" and "Got Dolphin?"

Try Elmer's in Monroeville. Just off the turnpike. Very nice place and very knowledgeable staff. About 30 minute drive from butler.

We were able to get out today to Seahorse and the people at the shop were awesome and we got a couple of great deals from the tank near the door that they were wanting empty. We will definately return their every time we are in the area. Us hobbiests can obtain livestock from just about anywhere, however, friendly service by people who care is something you can't put a price tag on.....
