Looking for lights

Got my little 30 gallon all up and running thanks to my bro. So far I have a few good chunks of live rock a nice sized pulsing xenia and a little pompom xenia (I think), and 2 little damsels. At the moment I only have a little 20w bulb over it and I'm getting dying to make my tank glow.

If anyone has any used lights/canopies or advice as to what I should put over it please let me know. I am currently stalking an Ebay post...

Oh and it looks sick...

Hoping to score it for $150 or less any opinions?

Isn't this a 4x24watt fixture? Are all 6 bulbs stock current-usa? If so, I would value the fixture at around $100 b/c you will have to bulb new and better bulbs?

If you are set on t5's, there are other options as ATI and Tek fixtures. Or do a retrofit kit, with high end reflectors and nice bulbs.

PM'ed you a good reef hardware classified thread for nano's to also check out.

I had that same fixture on my 29 gallon. I changed out the stock bulbs with wavepoint bulbs. The fixture worked great and I even had some sps towards the top of the tank. Hth

Thanks for the link Mike some nice stuff there. This is my first setup so I'm not really sure what I want for lighting. Thinking halide is a bit much especially for a starter tank, so T5 and maybe some leds should work nice. Looked up some of the ATI and Tek fixtures, really nice stuff but the cheapest 4x24 I could find was a Teklite for $225 no bulbs or mounting hardware. I did see a post earlier here about someone using 2 led spotlights with some home depot fixtures that looked pretty cost effective.

I'll see if I can get that fixture for <$100 and put some nice bulbs in it :)
