Looking for macro lens for Nikon D50

I'm looking for a reasonable priced macro lens to match my nikon d50 in the $300-400 range and its mostly used for this hobby.

Any suggestions?

Sigma 105mm f/2.8 is right about $400
Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 micro is about $650
Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 micro VR is about $850

I bought a Tamron 90mm F/2.8 Macro 1:1 for $425. and it work great on my Nikon.

Here's a picture of my fuzzy dwarf that I took with the macro. The fish is about 1 1/2" long in real life.

I have to ask how you were able to improve on the photo so much? WOW!

Shadow/Highlights tool in PS does that very well.

Photoshop ... adjustments ... variations ... lightened the shadow and midtonal layers
