Looking for mantis shrimp

Does anyone have a mantis shrimp they want to get rid of? They are so hard to find online.

Arc gets them from time to time. I have one in my solana, n.wennerae

I'm pretty open to options. I'd love a g. Smithii, n. wennerae, or viridis. But I wouldnt mind a smaller peacock mantis. I'm not to picky, the only thing I'm not fond of are the zebra mantis.

Why are you surprised? It's much MORE difficult to find them local than online.

Like you, I went to many of the Rochester LFS asking if they had any in stock our if it were possible to order me one. Unfortunately their lists would often just say "mantis" and not identify a species.

I did not want just any type so when the species i desired, popped up on diversden, I acted swiftly . I probably paid a premium but I'm happy with what we got.

Soooooo, lol, dont be surprised that no one has posted right away with an available mantis for you. Be patient, know what type you would like and chk the sites listed on the "Where to buy mantis" thread in the mantis sub forum...good luck!

Mantis are pretty niche and they are not like clownfish where we all have one. ARC does get them in. I just saw one there. I am sure they can order you one.
