What would be a good first Anemone for somebody who has no experience with them and has never owned one. I have a 60 Gallon tank with about 45 lbs live rock and 2 false percs, a Kole tang and Red Ferry Wrasse. Thanks

Tank is a 60 Gallon that has been up around 2 years, about 45 lbs of live rock, salinity is around 1.022, ph is 8.0 no issue with nitrite, nitrates or ammonia. t8 10k lamp . Refugium with cheato and skimmer, u.v. sterilizer and plenty of water flow.

Need some tank info. Size of tank, lighting, how long its been up?

He included the size of his tank in the original post.

The success of an anenome really is determined by a few things:

- The lighting (I believe most anenomes require strong lighting)

- The age of your tank (They also need well established tanks)

Those 2 requirements are what come to mind. Your tank size should be ok
for quite a few species of anenome.

As long as you have good lighting and your parameters have been stable i would try a Bubble Tip Anemone. Not a guarantee that your clowns will take to it. You never know. I find these the easiest to care for.

Your SG should be 1.0256.
Do you only have one lamp over the tank?
What are the dimensions of your tank?

Yes, one lamp, the dimensions are 30"w x 20"d x 25"h. I do have only one t8 lamp that I change regularly and I have excellent corraline algae growth.
