looking for my first clam

i am going to put it into a 40breeder 36x18x16. the lighting is going to be 2 96watt pc's. (current orbit sysytem) i have never had any clam experience so i need to know what would be the best type to get. any help would be great. thanks in advance.

I agree. Try a hippopus or derasa, maybe a squamosa. Steer clear of the maximas and croceas.
