Looking for options

I am posting this in all 3 Colorado forums for ideas. LPSGirl and I will be moving to CO in June, and we are hoping to bring our livestock. We will be going to friends' house in early April. What we are looking for is someone who might have extra equipment to setup a temporary tank soon, so that we might ship our stuff until we can reestablish our tank there.

We are open to any suggestions. We are willing to work out fair compensation depending on what we do, money and/or frags. If anyone has a tank they can offer us space in, that is ideal. But if we need to purchase stuff and someone is willing to tend it, we can possibly arrange that as well. If we have to purchase equipment and setup a tank ourselves, our preference is to do it at our friend's house in Parker.

We currently have 2 tanks, a 75gal and a 26 gal. We have several large corals and a bunch of fish. I can give details to anyone that has a thought or desire to help. We really want to move our stock, but we don't believe a direct move from here to there will allow us to save the majority of our critters.

Anyone with thoughts or suggestions please contact either one of us.

Thanks very much

Drew(Drewcipher) & Michelle(LPSGirl)

Give me a bit and I may have a suggestion for you but I have to talk to a couple of folks first....See ya soon...

Gotta give up Mammoth for Denver, bummer.

I have a stock tank and frag tank setup I need to grab. I was just going to swap it away so I could loan it to you if you can find someone with room to set it up and mind it for you.

Try contacting Key's Island. He has a system set up for doing this. Not sure how much he charges.

Thanks, we will make some other contacts and let you know soon. How big are they?

Also, we haven't decided where to live yet, but we love CO and it is way less expensive. I am pushing for nearer ski areas, but it remains unclear.

Ah, so you don't have to live in the big city, then thats cool. Some very nice places in the mountains here. Just don't get too close to the ski areas or you will find there isn't much of a price difference:D

The frag tank is 8 feet long and 2 feet wide if I remember right. One thing I didn't think about is lighting but the tank is only like 14" tall so lighting wouldn't be hard. Something that shallow could be used with scrounged PC fixtures or whatever. Hopefully someone will offer up space in a lightly stocked system but I figured in a pinch this is a fallback for you.

Hi Grim,

I know it has been a while since I started this, but do you still have the setup? What equipement do you have? We will be there Saturday night and are staying until Wednesday morning. Depending on what, if anything you have, we will see what we can manage.

Thanks
