Anyone have any or know a good place to get them? Seems like the LFS are wanting $15-20 each. Online is only a few bucks each but I dont like livestock via mail option.

Thanks

If you don't want to pay the price, mail option is best. If you don't like mail option, paying the price is best. It all comes down to what's more important. Usually, I have had great success getting pep shrimp(and most other shrimp and inverts) through the mail. One or two times, I've had a loss, but I've gone through good people that usually fully refund or reship at their cost. There is one person here in FL that sells them 2.50 each, but still too far to go get and have it be worth the trip. I froget who it is, but I'll try to find out.

If you don't like either of the options, you can always go out and try collecting them(do they live in Atlantic waters mor in the Gulf?)

If they are in Florida, chances are the shipment will come in fine and I would most likely do that if no one locally had any.

I was just hoping someone locally was charging under 5 or 6 bucks each.

http://www.****************/ $4.25 each. i've never ordered shrimp from them, but have ordered other stuff and was a good transaction. they shipped my stuff, but when i called, they said they are located (i think) in cocoa beach area and you can come and pick them up. and no, i'm not affiliated with them in any way, just trying to help.

Thanks for all the replies, I was able to find some at Seven Seas, the were $8 each and they had a ton of them if anyone else is looking.

Few months ago I couldn't even find them.

nope, never touched mine. i don't have the big kinds, but never touched all the little ones in the rock. never touched my aiptasia either

I've actually heard of them eating large ornamental anemones too. I've never had it happen, but someone said theirs were picking on an anemone(I forget which kind).
