I know - I never call unless I'm asking for something.
Does anyone have some pH calibration solution I could buy? Especially some of the one-shot packets? My pH has been dropping precipitously and I've checked all of the usual culprits. I just did a 25 g water change in my 180 and the reef keeper probe is still reading 7.4. When I check the probe with the calibration fluids I have, it is coming in low for both 7 and 10. I don't know if my solutions are still good (a year old) and besides they are not one-shots. i have to dip the probe into a bottle and I'm sure that affects the calibration solutions with time. Neither "new" SEA or GQ have the solutions in stock.
A plain old pH test kit shows the pH around 7.8 - 8.0. I want to measure it in a way I feel confident. Please let me know. Thanks.
