looking for recommendations for a new return pump

Hello all, I am looking for a new return pump and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation.....I've used both mags and eheims in the past.....the most important factor for me is reliable start up from power cycling....I am flexible on cost and efficiency.....

Someone has to ask so I will. What size tank? How much flow do you want? Internal or external? I'm guessing internal since you used Ehiem and Mag's in the past.

I'm looking for 4 to 5 feet of head pressure and roughly 1500 gph of flow (this gives me plenty of margin). I would prefer internal, but am not opposed to external if the value added was there.....

I'd say the Reeflo Snapper. It's external though. I would say, yes the added value is there.

I ended up with two external for my 180 build - the three speed Blowholes( http://www.reeflopumps.com/blowhole3speeds.html )
I find them to be very power efficient,quiet and having 3 settings on each allows for a lot of flexibility flow wise.
