Looking for reefers in my area... South Mississippi

He's the only person I know of that carries corals on the coast, typically a great selection with better pricing than the net. There is also a pretty cool reef shop right by the Airport in Kenner, LA in like a warehouse district. Do you know of any others from Mobile to NOLA?

where's just fish located? I'm in hattiesburg, no good shops here. Ordering online is ok but I would like to see what I'm getting.

Check him out on twitter @justfishbiloxi

He's on Pass road in Biloxi in a small blue building on the south side of the road between the V.A. and Keesler Gate 7.

Gerwin and his son Roger run the store, they always have a great selection of corals and fish. But it's best to follow on twitter and show up on shipment days. Corals are typically Tuesdays and fish on Thursday.

The coral tank is typically pretty full. The forum for the store is www.fishystuff.net

And no I'm not affiliated with them or anything, lol. Just a loyal customer. They have helped me so much in this hobby. Great people!

checked out just fish today, the owners are very nice. cash was low so only bought 2 items. Mentioned your name Scott[are u the Scott with the 240?] He [the owner] was nice enought to give me a discount since I drove from Hattiesburg. will definately go back. he has a very nice elegance I want.

I love that reef. I wanted his opinion on the salt in the white buckets, think it's by seachem But the store was crowded.

Your tank is awesome, are those AOL SOL? Where did you get your turf scrubber, I need one of those on tank. What's the saints bucket for? How do you control your dosing pumps? I love your landscaping. I have the evolution 20g LEDs. Wanted the AOL's but money didn't allow. If u don't mine how much was the turf scrubber? And do u like it?

Thank you for the compliments. Building this tank has been a dream come true.. though I can already see how it could be bigger! (mostly front to back, my next setup is going to be at least 3 feet front to back.

I was running 5 AI Sol Blues, but it was overkill so I stole one to put over my 30g mantis tank. So now I'm running 4 in a unique pattern, working GREAT.

The algae scrubber is a Santamonica100, and it's freaking AWESOME. Can handle 5 cubes a day after cleaning and 10 cubes a day towards the end of the week when before harvesting. They are $649 and can be ordered at www.santa-monica.cc Or you can get the exact plans for free and diy one. There are also hundreds of designs and discussions about algae scrubbers at algaescrubber dot net

My entire system including my dosing pumps are controlled via a Neptune Apex controller. I love that thing.

The saints bucket is part of an experiment for auto water change system. I'm planning on pulling 2 gallons a day out via my skimmer into that bucket. The plumbing on the bottom will drain back into the sump in case the skimmer goes nuts. At the 2 gallon point in the bucket a float switch tells my apex to email me and I can remotely drain the bucket or not if there seems to be a problem, like it skimmed too much too fast. Then I am using a 50ml/minute dosing pump to slowly dose saltwater back into the system. And I can monitor it all remotely on my phone. The conductivity module lets me keep a pretty close eye on salinity levels.
