Which is the cheapest way to go, bags or buckets? Which ever is cheaper, I want 3 buckets worth. Do I tell you or call there myself?

We can all go down there together or individually on Tuesday so that someone does not end up with $500 worth of salt if some people back out. The price is relatively close, but, I think the bucket is a little cheaper. I like the 50 gal bags cause my water changes are 50 gallons and it beats having to measure. Pour one bag in the drum filled with RO and its done. If people want buckets I have to call him to make sure he has some on hand, so let me know how many want buckets.

Lacy, I do roughly 50 gallons per water change. I have a 210 so I am about at 25%. I have been doing the same amount since I started my tank without any problems.

Brian, I take it you are out of the purchase at Beverlys.

Greg said he can get us 2 buckets for $72.05 including tax. He cannot do the $5 coupon.

I ran it on Drs and it was $74.97 for 2 buckets to my house without the $5 coupon.

For $2.92 more total on the total purchase, I like picking it up locally the same day. I like going to LFSs anyway to look around.

He will have about 15-20 buckets there on Tuesday and at least 20, 50 gallon bags.

No problem Brian, I just did not want to get the guy to do back flips to get the salt at the right price and then no one showing up to buy it. Roger still wants 10 bags and I will take 3 or 4. If Lacy gets a few buckets and Jeff does too it might not work out too bad. Anyone else feel free to chime in. Greg is always willing to do something for the club members.

Possibly Monday, but I would wait until Tuesday to make sure. If you need it before then I have a bucket that I got from Matt that you can have today and just replace it Tuesday.

Carlos, how often do you do these water changes? Maybe we are not doing enough.

Lacy, I had a problem with my nitrates for a while and I did one every 4 or 5 days for about 6 weeks. I now do one about every three weeks. If your levels are Ok, the water looks good and all the livestock is doing fine, I would not sweat it.
