Looking for Sand

Hi

I have a friend who is setting up a 400 gallon tank and is looking for argonite sand. Anyone have old sand laying around, it could be dry, wet etc.

I have at least 10-15 bags of sand left over when I set up my tank - It's the durascape brand white sand and has worked very well for me.

Thanks for the responses guys, he needs about 1500 lbs. Ed do you think that the Durascape white sand is argonite? I will see my friend tomorrow and ask him if he is interested. Ed could you also pm me with how much you would want for of it

I did the vinegar test and it tested fine - That's why I used it. I have the bags in my shed right now so I'll do an accurate count over the weekend. They're 40lb bags and you can have them for $5/bag

The durascape I've seen is rather angular, like grains of local sand. Not aragonite, but considering the vinegar test result I think it's likely calcite.
