looking for 1 seio hang on tank hookup

I already have the seio, I just need the suction cup apparatus and over the tank thingie

looking for a freebie or very close to

I may have one, but I'd also recommend the mag float. I'm almost sure I have one (or most of it) I used pieces to mount my mj mod. Do you need the ball joint?

yeah I need the ball joint...I need the whole assembly except the powerhead basically

a mag float would be cool if it wasnt 22 bucks

Buy a used one. I got 2 used for $15 shipped a year ago.

I don't have the ball joint i'm using that sorry.

I second the mag float. It's nice not having to worry about it falling, it's easy to move, and it cleans while you move it!

so you guys are suggesting that I have 3 mag floats (2 seios and 1 for cleaning) in my tiny tank?

I wish there was a magnet strong enough to hold my 2600's. The one in front slips down at least twice a day. Sometimes I feel like just leaving to sit at the bottom. but then my hammer gets a little upset.

I have the extra pieces too, for the smaller ones. But no ball joint. Sorry.
But I do have an old mag float you can have. Don't know what size it is. But it is the one I used on my 75 gallon tank. It's about 1 1/2 x 4 inches, if that will give you an idea if it will work. Just let me know. I can bring it up to Gateway tomorrow.

I got my seio's put this way today, took some work since i can't find the screw that you used.
Anyway it is about 4 to 5 inches from the top, can't get it any lower. The problem is about every 5 minutes or so it will blow a burst of air bubbles through the tank. Is there anyway to make this stop. Or am I going to need to use the suction cups again? It is a 2600, so really it is too heavy for the suction cups, can't find a magnet strong enough to hold this. So I figured this would be the best option. But not if I am going to get a bubble blast every few minutes.

when you did the mod I'll bet you pulled the seio up out of the water, just hold it under the water and rotate it around to get the air out that got in when you pulled it out of the water

maybe a little shimmy, maybe a little shake

No, actually, I put it together inside the tank, It keeps making a vortex right above it, and after a few minutes, I guess the air finds its way to the seio. I blows thru, and then everything is fine. About five minutes later the same thing. Been doing this since about 2:30.

I don't get any vortex. The top of mine are 3-4" below the water line.

I'm running an 820 and and 1100 - so maybe the smaller ones don't have that problem.

you'll have to find a way to get that pump lower. maybe extending the length with a piece of acrylic or extending a piece of acrylic across the top of the pump so a vortex cannot form.

I tried to lower, If I lower it any more it falls off of the hanger, I only got the one 3 in long hanger with my seio. I watched the vortex form, and it doesn't form in the exact same place each time. It also isn't forming right above the seio, they are forming about 4 or 5 inches off the the left or right of the seio. Would the return line blowing above the seio break the vortex from forming, or would that make matters worse.

I'd look into getting it as low as it was before changing the bracket Rena. Get an extension type piece to make it longer.

I can make you guys a mount for this out of acrylic. All I would need is to make some measurements on one of the pumps.
PM me if you are interested.
