Looking for small RBTA

Mine just split, I am l ooking to get rid of them both. $50 for both. They are on the same rock

Yeah - there must be something in the water - both of mine have split :eek1:
The RBTA I bought from Tricky just about tripled in size - then split into 3!
My monster LTA that I got from Wingnut (originally from Nautilus) split into 2 big-uns about a month ago that are now huge!!
Guess I'm either really lucky or doing something right :lol:
Now I just need to figure out how to get some of them off the rock.....

All you have to do to get them to turn loose from the rock is gently coax them by touching the egde of thier foot with a piece of ice. It won't hurt them, but it will make them turn loose without taking a chance of hurting them. Don't just hold it on them, but repeatedly touch the edge of thier foot. Once they start to turn loose just get your finger under there, and gently coax them the rest of the way. Some people think that is mean, but it's better than risking a tear in the foot IMO.
I can make mine split by moving them from the tank with MH to the one with T-5 or the other way around. Splitting is usually a stress issue, or can be just growth when they get big.

If you want to drive up this way, you can go pick those 2 up and i will give you one small one (un attatched) and $20 trade for those 2, but i am unable to drive down that way because my wife is a full time nursing student, and i have 2 kids and no carseats for my truck. The one i have is a small one from a recent split. I can post a pic if you are interested in doing that.

UNless one comes off the rock, which this is the rock they have been on since I got them yes, otherwise no.

I would post a pic for you tonight, but he is busy pooping at the moment, so if he gets done before the lights go out i'll post a pic tonight. If not i will post one in the morning, but he is good and healthy. He has been split long enough that he has all his tentacles grown back, and is eating good, wich is why he is doing his bussiness right now. He just enjoyed a scallop last night.

Here is a pic of the one i have. He is a split from about 1 month ago and is under a 12k 250w MH. It's kind of a crappy pic from my phone though. He is about 4 to 5 inches across when fully open. He was bubbled up ander my T-5's, but is adjusting to the MH at the moment. He is eating good, and stays put really well. You can see the mother that is fully colored up when you come to pick him up if you decide you want him. I can be home the rest of today if you call ahead. if not today then you will have to wait until at least thursday.

If you are interested in the pair of Goldstripe marrons, i would let you have them and thier anemone for $100 so i can shut that tank down. With Progress energy's 25% increase in rates i can't afford to keep the MH's and chiller running any more. The pair of clowns are small but they are a bonded pair bonded and would be perfect for a nano for quite a while.
