Looking for Strombus snails

Hi all,

I am looking for some "Strombus maculatus" like the ones sold by www.ipsf.com. Does anyone have a thriving population of these and have an interest in trading?

On an unrelated note, I have two bags of southdown sand and some chaetomorpha I'm looking to get rid of for free if anyone wants it. The catch with the Chaeto. is that I have Convolutriloba flatworms.

Thanks,
Kevin

(I put the name in quotes because apparently they aren't really Strombus)

NicholeC had a thriving population of strombus snails when she shared some with me. I have a few in my 180, but they are not multiplying like they used to in my 15. I have a lot of collonista snails reproducing, though. I can give you some of these if you'd like. I am also waiting on my dwarf turbo snails to multiply, but they don't seem to be growing in number at the moment....

I would be glad to give the sand a new home.. I need some and my mom is thinking of setting up a salt water tank

I just noticed you live in auburn. So on 2nd thought I.will pass on the sand. No telling when I could get down there to down there to get it. Sorry about that

Somehow I missed the e-mail notifications. I still have the southdown.

Tomoko, I would actually really love to get some Collonista. I'm not sure when I'll be in your neck of the woods, though. Would you be willing to ship?
