Im looking at building a 72"x48"x27" plywood and glass tank and I would like to see pictures of tank over 36" front to back. Im sure there are some out there just can find any when I search for pictures.
Ive got a build thread going...mine is 40 deep....Dont know if this helps you...I would have loved to go 60 if I could..... but even at 40 you must have side access or you will never get to the back unless you plan on having access from the front where you crawl across the top....
This is going to be a aggressive fish only. Im going to try to house 3-4 different types of puffers. Right now I have a 7" guinea fowl and a Christmas island golden puffer. They are separated in different tank right now just trying to get a large enough tank to house them all for life. I would like to get a black dogface puffer and a porcupine puffer. I have always like these. I will have other fish as well but my main focus will be on the puffers. I have room for a 8' long tank and probably 6' front to back. My only limited space is the height cause there are 3 ductwork pipes right above where the tank will be. Im thinking 27" will be all I can go so that I have access to do everything I need to do in the tank.
