Been debating this with a few different people and need to find whom if anyone is right on this id!!
suggestions so far:
-acro efflo
-turbinaria
-montipora undata
Any one agree with any of these or have another idea?
Its the purple piece with the green outer edge right next to the red monti.

I would have to pick the efflo if the three. But it doesn't even look that.

What is the story. Did it get scrapped from some glass then grown out? Looks like an acro more than monti. If so definitely a table of encrusting acro.

no real fancy story, was bought at a lfs a year ago, didn't look like much, thought it was just another monti cap. But now as its grown a bit and the colors are coming to life nobody can seem to give me a for sure answer.
I'll try and get a closer pic of the coralites to maybe help out with an id.

Try the poor-mans macro lens (hold a magnifying glass in front of the camera lens). I am curious to see the new growth up close.

i"ll try for a closer pic tonight, it sits dead center of my corner bow, so pics are a pita to get!!

i think i need a topdown photo box soon! here's a bit better try at a pic!

Could be M. verrucosa as the verrucae are very close and compact. But there is that other side that is all blue. Can't see how the growth form is.
