Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I read that more as a "slap" against keeping them in captivity as two have already died. I think that was the sarcasm that was mentioned.

Whether it was or not it was still wrong. The Atlanta Aquarium cares very much for their specimens and only wants whats best for them, and if you have ever been there you will know that the systems are great and no doubt it is the best aquarium in the world. If we want to get really technical cant we just say put anything in your tank since we are taking them from the biggest habitat in the world, THE OCEAN. Nothing compares to the ocean and the closest thing that does is the whale shark display tank in Atlanta.

Gobies don't usually tend to. If you keep a totally goby tank you could probably have 10 different fish in a 30g. A yellow watchman, couple of highfins, couple of commensal shrimp [tiger for the watchman, candycane for the highfins], some redstripes, [no diamonds! much too much for a 30!]---they tend to be cryptic, but they have very great personalities and frequently come out to see you when you park in front of the tank---especially at feeding time. The whole 10 can feed off one dissolved mysis cube, and your tank won't overload or crud up. None of them eat caulerpa, but nothing will that's going to fit in a 30: you're going to have to lift a few rocks and scrub with a toothbrush periodically. Just a suggestion.

Now i think i want to go set up a 30 gallon cube now and have it just like this.
