Looking for Tokina 10-17mm (Canon mount)

I have been thinking about getting a fisheye lens for the last couple weeks/months. I stopped by the local Samy's Camera and played with the Tokina 10-17mm on a Nikon. I want one! I know it will probably get old pretty quick, and its a lens not good for many shots, but I love how creative you can get with one. Of course I had to pick a lens that is virtually unobtainable. The guy said they have been waiting for them for months and every online retailer I have looked at is out of stock. I don't even see any used I would think there would be a ton that people got cause they thought it was cool then got sick of...

It seems there aren't many 12-24mm out there either But I really like the fisheye anyway.

Can anybody point me in the right direction as far as a good site with used gear for sale. I am not familiar with the photo forums but I imagine that's where I should be looking...

You can order them on Adorama even though they're out of stock. They'll charge you and ship it when it arrives. I ordered the Tokina 11-16 last summer, which is also chronically out of stock at every vendor. It took mine a little over 2 months to get last summer after I ordered through them.

I have the same lens but the pentax make. s. It is so much fun to use! it seems like everything pentax/tokina related item is out of stock or difficult to get new. the 10-17, 12-24, 16-50, and 50-135 are all co developed between pentax and tokina. You might get better luck finding one used from an online forum/ marketplace such as fredmiranda.

Looks like everybody got a shipment. "In Stock" all over the place! Ordered through Adorama, should be in here early next week!
