looking for xenia

I am looking for alot of xenia. My brother just got some that was attached to screen and he clipped the screen with the xenia growing on it to the back of his tank. This is kinda what Im looking for. If anyone has some or knows where I can get it from like this please let me know.

I am having a serious algae problem right now, i am working to fix these problems now, than I will need some, if I dont take a baseball bat to the tank first!

what kind of troubles are you having?

first is was red slime, now its hair, bubble and some ugly green stuff on the sand. I treated the red slime, but I am hesatant to treat the tank again because it really stressed out my clown and anemone................

That stuff shouldn't stress your critters out if you followed the directions to the t, however i find there are better ways of getting rid of it naturally.

Some mexican turbos or hermits.. sucking it off of wherever its growing during water changes, making sure you're feeding healthy food and not overfeeding .. eventually it dies off and if your tank is less than a year old its pretty common to run into phases of algae =\


On that note I just set up a 55g thats doing its thing and I live by avalon park - so if any one is near that direction and wants to get rid of any of the pulsing stuff? My husband really likes it and would love to get a bit of it for him.. you konw.. if it happens to be taking over your tanks

Well, if any one of you guys have any of that free Xenia LEFT< can i cal dibs on it? I would prefer it to be already attached to something, but i will take anything. SINCE i do not have a car, and rely on my parents to take me everywhere (im 16) it would be ALOT easier to just meet at the ORCA meeting thie 27th.
