looking into 300 gal tank

I am looking into getting a 300 gal Acrylic tank and I was wondering if any of you might be able to give me some things I should be asking when talking to the builders of the tank.

and one more thing do you, that have an acrylic tank do you have any problems with it and would you buy acrylic again?

Iam not total sold on Acrylic

Do you already have the design you want for the tank? If so than the only thing I can think of is how thick will the acrylic be? If you don't have a design I would read up a lot more to figure what style you want to go with. You can ask them that but later you might not like that design if you didn't know what others look like. I don't have my tank yet but after doing research I finally got my latest design. That was after 1 month ago and over 10 different designs.

This is how mine changed. Even my equipment changed as I became more knowledgeable. I don't have all the diagrams.

Bumped up the tank to 375g.

And finally the current one. I'm still researching on the sump pumps and if I should make the sump bigger.
