I've been eyeballing an MRC CR-6. It is rated for a much larger tank than what I have, but I was going off of the old skimmer ratings (and needing to double, though that is likely not the case here). It lists a rating for 725 gallons. I'll have the 120 and 125 plumbed together for a total water volume of around 240 gallons (rough estimate). Is the CR-6 just complete overkill? I don't want to have to upgrade for a long time and hope for a larger tank in the future (300 or so-no plans at all, but down the road, you know).
The CR-6 has a 6" and 4 1/2" chamber that are each 21" tall.
