Looking to add a 3rd fish to a 25G tank

I currently have an established 25g, with a bluefin damsel and a tomato clown both are fairly big and have been coexisting for the past couple of years.

Am looking to see if there's a potential 3rd fish that I can add to this mix that would be able to put up with some fairly "aggressive" fish.

Thanks this is a Fish only tank w/ live rock. (and a cleanup crew)

if your experienced enough to keep parameters stable, like alkalinity, get a flame anglefish.

What has been your experience w/ them? Never housed one but figured they might be a docile end when compared to a damsel and tomato.

They're beautiful and I would love one probably tops my list, just concerned w/ their size.

well I dont think he will be bugged by them much as compared to another fish like a percula clown. They would kill it, they are too docile.

However, the flame angle are tough to fish, not to water parameter fluctuations. They get sick easily if your alkalinity drops unnoticed.

Be smart, save your cash, get a coral.

What about a yellow-headed sleeper goby. Maybe even a big firefish.

Way too docile, he will hide all day, and not eat.

Sleeper goby yes, because they are bottom dwellers. Wont be bothered.

I'd second a flame angel, or most any of the dwarf angels. I've got a flameback that's held it's own with a maroon clown for a couple of years now -- they were in a 40g together, recently moved to a 135g.
Other choices would be dottybacks or possibly a gramma.

oh yes gramma or dotty back 2nd it too. Dont let their color fool you, mean *** fish. Especially the gramma. Will fight the damsel for a rock however, may loose. GOt lots of rock?

I actually had a royal gramma in there, not sure if the damsel was picking on him or the Tomato was, but he definitely had bit fins... eventually passed away

I had a mandarin in the display part of a Finnex 32-gallon m-tank (20 gallon display?) along with a niger trigger and a tomato clown (all 3 fish came with the tank)

The niger trigger definitely kept the tomato clown in his place, but both of the them totally ignored the mandarin -- she might as well have been in a different tank for all they noticed her.

I am not saying get a mandarin -- you know the issues around that, but if you get the right fish even though it may be docile there stilll may not be a problem.

Ah thanks, I most likely go w/ a bottom type dweller.
