I am looking to buy either T5 or PC light for my 29g I recently purchased. I am in the process of tearing down my Red Sea Max which has a 110w of lighting in the built in hood. I am looking for something fairly inexpensive. Also I would like to find a good used protein skimmer to put in my sump. I kick my self for selling the nice DIY recirculating skimmer I had bought last year and turned around and sold again. Any help is much appreciated.

How about a 130 watt Corallife PC New in box. I bought it years ago and never used it. It has 6700K lamps. Two switches. These go for about $165.00 New. I'd sell for $100.00 shipped to PA.

That wouldn't have been my DIY recirc skimmer would it?
I use an odyssea PS160 for my 90. It really kicks with a few mods. Meshwheel the pump, remove the center tube, put a 90 PVC elbow inside the skimmer at the water inlet. They are $60 new at aquatraders, but the shipping used to be ridiculous. Check ebay or the used forums, they come up from time to time.

It has been such a crazy year and a half I barely remember what I did yesterday. Currently I have a skimmer from Catalina Aquarium. I have only had it running for 2 days so will have to see but it is so noisy. I also still have a Tunze 9002 skimmer but I don't have current sump set up with enough water to run it.

i have a marine land skimmer rated for up to 125 gallon i could trade ya for the tunze maybe if its rated high enough
