Welcome to URS Jed!!! You are hereby officially a member of URS lol....easy wasn't it?! You have a wealth of knowledge at your disposal here and we're all learning all the time.

To my understanding, it's pretty informal.
You've got an account now obviously,
You've just joined the URS.

Welcome Jed !!

There are many informal meetings(between members that choose to hang out) as well as frag swaps occasionally all over.
Much knowledge to share from everyone. Especially online as well as in person with friends we all make on here.

Just give the RC online rules a brief overview and your already on your way to having fun and learning some here and there.
:wavehand: Welcome

welcome :) yes you are now a member lol ..Always nice to see more local people here..

Don't be put off though..The forum moves pretty slow during the summer months, but there are always some folks around..

Welcome Jed! Yup, very slow right now...but in the winter? It's where we all hang out....or a good rainy day!

:wavehand:These forums are great, with many very knowledgeable members willing to help. While this type of society is an excellent resource many of us would also benefit from a more formal club. Are there any other local (WNY) societies that hold regular meetings?

Welcome Jed! Yup, very slow right now...but in the winter? It's where we all hang out....or a good rainy day!

Thank you everyone! Yeah im definatly a noob right now. I'll have to start a thread with pictures of my tank. And why is it slow in the summer and busy in the winter? i heard this from a guy at a reef creation too. just curious.
