Looking to make a frag tank.

So the other day i came across 2 sheets of acrylic, 6'9" long 3 feet wide and 3/4 inch thick, I got 2 sheets for free and im thinking of making a custom frag tank, what do yall think if this? worth it or worth more to sell the 2 large sheets to someone thats going to make a large tank? also what would a sheet like this cost? friends are telling me that each sheet is like 300$ due to size and thickness, it might be way to thick to make a sump out of but a nice sized frag tank would be good, If i was to make it id try to make a 40 or 50g frag tank maybe half of the size of each sheet so i can use one sheet for the base and sides and the other one for the rest.

Well first off its not worth $300 each yea retail but not cost to a builder from wholesale who would be your market buyer ..... they come in 4x8 new for under $300 not 6x3 second your not going to make a large tank out of just 2 sheets that size ...yes a decent size but by no means a large tank...just not enough material....you would have just enough for the bottom and one side lol.... now the good news yes it has some value but more value to just use for a frag tank or a sump.....if your not experienced with acrylic leave the dt thought to someone that is and has the setup for working with this material or it would just be a waste of some very nice material with poor seamsmanship that will come from it....I have years of experience and without the proper tools and shop set up I even stay away from dt's

Just to give you an idea I purchased a used 300gal with the same thickness materials for my sump and paid $300 total and thats more than double the amount of material you have and reworked it into my current sump ....

Also what brand is it. Is it cell cast....that will also make a difference on value

How much would it cost to make a frag tank out of this?, im not looking for something huge just something enjoyable, maybe at the most 3 feet long 2 feet wide and 1 foot tall?
Im guessing the size id like it would be about 45 to 50 gallons at the most but that's just a guess, if I was to make a sump out of that it would have to be a big sump and then it wouldn't fit under my 60g, I want to make the frag tank so I can put it next to my 60g so id make it roughly the same size as the 60g or close to.

Are you asking how much it would cost to have someone make it out of the material you have or how much would the supplies cost to weld it up ....just cost on supplies less than $40 ....labor to build it that would all depend on who you had do it......here is mine 4x2
