Looking to Purchase a TT (Todds torch)

hello,
I have a 125 gallon set up with a 40 gallon sump under the cabniet. I have been slowly adding to it and i love the way that the todds torch look!!! If anyone has any for sale let me know. I live in orleans county in kent. This would make a great addition and I hope someone can help me out!!!! Thanks ahead of time!! :dance:
 
welcome to the forums..Todd's torch is an awesome coral,you may get lucky..But they dont come up very often
 
Welcome.....psssst their are sweeter torches at 1/4 the price. I have now 20 plus heads of varioua toches of various colora and lenghta at the price of prolly 4 -5 heads of tods torch. Dont get me wrong tt is sweet.
 
I have been wondering what is the deal with TT ? Yes it has slightly longer polyps but the color just doesn't do anything for me . i hope you can find some for your collection but there are so many cooler colors .What is with Todd anyway ?I don't intend to rain on your parade as every color morph has it's place .
 
gotcha , i would purchase one as there are only so many different ones out there and i want one of each at least . i think the TT goes for like $75 a head around here .
 
It does, its a nice coral but as wetbehindears said theres alot more that are as cool or cooler IMO, but the fact the TTs from around here makes it hot.
 
well, if anyone has other torches for sale then id like to see them also. It seems like everyday i find something new i want to get and put in my tank. I love to sit back and just watch. So any sweet additions would be cool. Let me know what you have for sale if your in the Rochester or buffalo areas (I live right in the middle of the two in orleans county) Thnkas for all the responses and i hope i can get my hands on something. Any one ever order online???? Seems risky but im not sure so id figuired id ask. If so whats a good reputable site to order from online??? and what is the actuall name of "Todds torch"???
 
I can possible make you a two head frag of TT and bring to the swap or pick up at my house in Tonawanda. Last I looked I had 4 heads, would just break in half for the right price of course. Mine would be too hard to get a single head since it always grows in pairs for me.

One of the things I really like about the TT is that its been aquacultured for many years in our tanks so its much hardier then other Torches. I seems to only be able to keep TT's. All my other Torches have slowly died over the years.
 
As far as shipping torches do some reading. I heard euphilia doesn't ship well.

There is no "name" for tt. As far as I know it's a variant that seems to be limited to the upstate ny region.
 
thats even cooler (if thats a word) that they are only around upstate!!!! Thanks for all the responces. Someone i met at The Reef Shop in rochester recomended this site to me and im very glad they did. Ive learned a lot reading other peoples posts and its a good place to meet people with the same passion and get sweet items at good prices!!! I looked at other torches and so far TT is the one i like the best,mabey its just people have better pics of that kind,im not sure but it has deff caught my eye!!!! So many things i want.....
 
Hang in there. They show up every couple months, just act quick! I got lucky last time, and couldn't pick up so I split the double header with someone that could make the drive.

Till then there are many other niece pieces!
 
yeah, Brent Thomann I sent you a pm. Yes im intersted in the two heads if you frag them. Let me know when you think they will be available. I am goping to be camping in the thousand islands the weekend of the frag swap so before or after,which ever works for you. thanks
