looking to upgrade 75g to 90g...suggestions

I am looking to upgrade to 90g this fall. Currently have a 75g with ia nice stand and canopy so I thought it wold be great to just increase height a bit to a 90g. I have heard about the saphire tanks, and to stay away from the acrylics due to scratching efftect.

any thoughts on price differences and quality factors I should be looking at. as well as suppliers around the area that would be the best deal to get it from.

For the time, effort & money required, I would upgrade to at least a 125. If not I dont think it would be worth it. But to each his own.

If I was doing that I would be looking at a 120g 4x2x2. However, I have a handcrafter solid oak stand/canopy that I built with all dado/mortise and tenon joints with no screws of nails except for the hinges. Plus I am limited to a 4' wide space. The 125 is too narrow (depth) for a 6' tank IMO

You could get a 110, it's the same footprint as the 75/90. Although i'm not sure how much more of a benefit it would be since it would be harder to light.

Yeah, that is true, I am just running dual 175 MH and dual 96w PC, so height would be an issue.

I would stick with the 90, the extra height in the 110 will cause more problems than it is worth. Cleaning the 90 will be a chore in itself due to the top of the tank being at armpit height.
