Loosing time & date

I am loosing date & time every time we are loosing power, even if it is for seconds only.
Is there a way to buffer internally, without using a external UPS?
It is kind of annoying to set up everything again & again even worse, when I am not home everything is screwed up for days.

I don't have this issue. Is there an internal battery (CMOS) that needs to be replaced ? If connected to a network is there not an auto time set?

That was my first thought too. However, I couldn't find anything in the manual about a battery. Hopefully there is one!
Yes, the it is connected to a network but it is wireless.

There is a "gold cap" which runs the clock during a power cut, the capacity lasts for approx. 3 weeks.
How old is the Profilux, about which model are we talking?
