Losing a Chromis

Well i added a blue green chromis and a royal gramma to our tank (29g) three days ago. The Gramma is doing great, but the chromis just started breathing heavy and resting on the top of the rock, he is also shaking.

Water parameters are:
Amonia :0
Nitrates:0
Nitrites:0
Ph: 8.4
Salinity: 1.024
Temp: 77

I am not really sure what to do. Fish looks fine. No spots on him, he has had no color loss. Scales look fine. other fish have not been picking on him. All other fish in the tank are doing great and also look healthy.

I am not really sure what to do, so i am doing a water change right now... But am not really sure if even that is a good idea?

I'm definitely no expert but I have heard that chromis' are really sensitive to salinity chnages. Possibly the change from the LFS to your tank was too great or maybe he didn't acclimate properly. Just a shot. That's what kept me from going with some chromis for my first fish

well, the chromis passed away last night....

Not sure if it was the salinity change or not. He had been fine, swimming around two days ago... He was drip acclimated for 1 hr when i got him.
