Lost color

Has anyone had success bring back the color to a bubble tip anemone...mine has gone from green to total white...for about 6 months now...right around the time I switch to MH...I'm not sure if that was the cause or not??? Any suggestions... I do not target feed it.

Also what are your tank params? It is possible, I purchased a GBTA and it was pretty much white and now it has its color back. I would deff be feeding it though.

feed it. silverslides. not a whole one, just 1/3 maybe. because its bleached id suggest soaking the silverslide in selcon first. make sure its completely defrosted too.

I had one that did the same thing a couple years back. I brought it back by feeding it formula one frozen cubes. About a half cube a day if I remember correctly. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe it had a bunch more vitamins than just silversides. Since coming back though, I feed it silversides regularly and have had no more bleaching. It will take time. but just stick with it - took me about 6 weeks to fully come back.

It's making sense now, I was buying live brine from my LFS weekly...they stopped carring it awhile back...I'll pick up some selcon this week...Thanks for the help.

Update...I have given him food twice over the past six days...I'm starting to see a green tint returning to the tips.
