lost in the light

so I have a 24" current t5 and it's time to replace the bulbs and I'm having a hard time understanding what and why to get what, any one think they can simplify the hole thing for me?

Ok.. if the lights that were in there were adequate for what your tank required then by the same lights 24" T5's from current. I don't see where you state that you're changing anything about your tank or live stock so it should be a simple choice.
