about a month ago i got a bubble tip anemone about the size of my palm. it was doing great until last week when we got hit with this heat and i didn't have my a/c on (window units wish i had central air) so the tank got hot (about 85 degrees and i keep it around 80-82) and half of it just disappeared!! kinda looked like half of it just died and shriveled up. then it started to move down the rock and the next day it was gone. so my question is should i look for it and see if it's still alive or just wait and see if it comes out somewhere? also i have some decent sized emerald crabs(one is about 1-1/2 to 2 inches side to side) in the tank if it died would they have eaten it?

here it is about 2 weeks after i got it

I had an anemone that was kept at 87 degrees for months because my temp probe was way off. it did just fine. it did loose its color. but once the temp got back to where it was supposed to the color came back after a few months. everyone thought it was cool because it was a transparent pink color. I know they will sometime hide when ummm. poohing.....
